Françoise Bonnet

Françoise holds a degree in law from the Liège University, complemented by a diploma in European law from the College of Europe and in specialised studies in environmental law from the Brussels University.
She has more than 25 years of experience in legislative issues and in material resource management and policy.

During her professional life, she has worked not only for public authorities such as Brussels Region Administration, the UN or the European Commission, but also for private companies. Her experience in material resource management/policy was mainly acquired in her position as firstly legal advisor for a steel producer company and after as head of the waste department at the Brussels Regional Administration and as Secretary General of Association of Cities and Regions for Sustainable Resource Management (ACR+). Both at the regional administration and at ACR+, she had the chance to give policy advice, technical assistance and capacity development.
